Hi, what a lovely boat, My first boat Reiger was quite similar, also being a folkboat derivative. She was a Fred Parker Warsash one design, A great sailing boat, but I always thought the contessa was much better for cruising with the transom hung rudder and longer cabin.

I still miss the wonderful thoroughbreed sailing abilitys of Reiger, she makes Snowpetrel feel like a sherman tank...

There are a suprizing number of contessa's out here (in aussie) sailed out from england by their owners, tough little boats.
